In march break I went to Florida to visit my grandparents. I went from Tuesday the 10th to Tuesday the 17th. When I got off the plane I went with my grandparents to a Chinese food place that we always go to. My brother and I ate a lot of Chinese food. I really liked the ice cream there, especially the sherbert. The next day we played a lot of card games and board games. My Nana and Poppa taught my brother and I the card game hearts. We both really liked hearts. My brother and I really like the board game Clue. There were three mornings where my brother and I went to the beach. We would always build villages or castles and play with them. The third time we went was the most fun. We always built our villages and castles close enough to the water that the waves would be able to hit it some times. It was tons of fun. On the fifth day we went to a botanical gardens. There were many cool plants there. There were about 15 different types of cacti. One time I tried to catch a lizard but I got its tail. Another time I caught a lizard, I was holding it but it escaped. On the sixth day we went on a bird walk. We saw a lot of cool things. We saw the eyes and nostrils of a crocodile and a whole bunch of pink snail eggs. We saw snake birds, cardinals, and whole bunch of other types of birds. On the 7th day we went to a hockey game. It was Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Montreal Canadians. It was a good game and Tampa won. The score was 4 – 2. After the first it was a 2 – 0 Tampa. After the second It was 3 – 1 Tampa. Then after the third it was 4 – 2. Then the next day my brother and I left.

Darien Lake
Last Sunday my family and I left to go to Darien Lake. It was a two hour and thirty minute long car ride. In the car ride, my brother and I played our DSs. About thirty seconds after we got there our friends came to see us at our RV. In total there were 17 of us. It was really cool to live in an RV for three days; pretty much the only thing we did in the RV was sleep. The first ride I went on was the Predator. It was a wooden roller coaster and it was very bumpy and fast, and it was my second favorite roller coaster there. The next ride was my favorite roller coaster at that park, called the Ride of Steel, which was about the same height as Canada’s Wonderland’s Behemoth. The roller coaster was really smooth, and it was the only roller coaster that didn’t hurt my brother. It was a really fast roller coaster because of the first drop. Then my brother and I did the Twister which is just like the Riptide except you don’t get wet. It was also a really good ride.
After that we went to a show featuring a tightrope walker. His name was Nick Wallanda and he walked across Niagara Falls last year. The show also had a exceptional juggler who had Guinness World records for juggling seven balls behind his back.
Next we got ready for the show Ignite the Night and there was thirty minutes until it started. So I went on the Boomerang which is exactly the same as the bat, except that it is blue and a little shorter. 
Ignite the Night is a show with fireworks and lasers. There was always a song going on with pictures that explained them. It was a good show but the Nick Wallanda show was better. Just before we left Darien Lake, we took a photo which I photobombed my parents.
My Vacation
On Monday I left home and I went on an airplane. I got to miss a week of school to go to Florida. I went to Florida to visit my grandparents. On Tuesday I went to the turtle park. When we walked in we saw 3 turtles. Then we walked up the path. After walking for about 15 minutes. We saw a whole bunch of turtles eating. We saw a turtle that was about 2 feet long! That day we didn’t see that many turtles. On Wednesday we went to the aquarium. We saw lots of fish, sharks and birds. We saw a reef that was really big. There were 2 green moray eels! There were a couple of nurse sharks and there was a giant turtle about 4 feet and 6 inches. It could’ve been bigger than me. We saw some really cool jelly fish. They had red, green, and blue lights inside of them. On Thursday we went to a hockey game. It was Tampa Bay vs. Buffalo. We got to see amazing goal tending and some terrible goal tending by Tampa’s goalie. When buffalo was on a break away Tampa’s goalie would come way out of his net. Tampa had so many scoring chances but they would either miss the net or the goalie would save it. Tampa had about 40 shots and buffalo had about 20 and the game ended off3 to 1 for………… Buffalo. On Friday we went to the beach. My brother and I would play a game called Tornado. Sometimes he would run off and I would chase him down then jump on him.
EcoTour in the Virgin Islands
This blog is about our family trip to the Virgin Islands. My family and I went there this summer. This is a license plate from the Virgin Islands. Compared to Ontario’s license plate it looks a lot better because our license looks plain.
A while ago I went on a Virgin islands Eco tour. They made me sign a sheet. It said if you got killed, injured, attacked by an animal like a shark, or your boat capsized it wasn’t their fault.
My family went kayaking. My dad and I were together and my mom and brother were together. 
After I went kayaking, I went snorkeling. I saw a big fish that looked like a rock it was so cool. I had a lot of fun snorkeling. It was awesome. I saw so many cool fish. One time I thought I saw a rock but it was actually a school of fish. 
After that the people that held the tour talked about this cool animal that sticks to rocks. Then told us that we can find find sea urchins where we were.
My dad found one while Jace and I were looking for one. Then we went to my dad and he let us hold the sea urchin.
After that we did a hermit crab race. Lots of the hermit crabs stayed in their shell for the beginning of the race. The hermit crabs would only come out of their shell if they heard loud noises, so we clapped. My mom’s hermit crab was really big and it won the race. 
After that my family kayaked back to main land. After a quarter of the way back, I was tired and was taking a break every few minutes. While I was lounging, my dad was working hard.
So then the Virgin islands Eco tour was over. It was really fun.
Disney World
Sometimes I go to Florida and visit my grandparents. One of my favourite things to do there is to go fishing! If my brother or I catch a catfish we eat it, but its rare to find. My favourite thing to do there is to play out side with my brother Jace. Another thing I love doing there is building a Lego house with my brother or Nana. Another thing I like doing there is going to special places, like Busch Gardens, Lego Land, and Disney World.
I’ve been to Disney World twice with my parents.

My favourite ride is the roller-coaster Expedition Everest which goes forward then backwards. I like the water parks, especially Typhoon Lagoon. It has big waves that come to you and knock you down. I like when I get to ride the waves in the deep end. There is a loud horn that tells you when the waves are about to start.
The first ride I went on was It’s A Small world. I kept on watching the Muppet episode it’s a small world over and over, again. Watching It’s A Small made me want to go on the ride.

Busch Gardens
Lizard that I caught
I went to Busch Gardens while I was with my grand parents. I was looking at animals when I saw a lizard. I tried to catch it but I missed and it ran behind the fence. I waved it back on to my side with a piece of paper. Then I caught the lizard. I tried to feed it a leaf but it bit me and my Papa had to take it off. I went on a train ride and saw lots of animals. I went on a couple roller coasters. That was my time at Busch Gardens.
